The NEW Website is now live and accessbile.

Our new web address is: wellsvilleschools.org .

For now, both the new and old sites will be used. All Headlines & News, Calendars, new information and additions will only be posted on the new site. The old site will serve as is and some links from the new site will revert back to it. As we continue to migrate to the new site, portions of the old site will be turned off. We will continue to build portions of the new site, this does take time and appreciate your patience during the migration and creation processes.

Thank you again to each person who replied to our survey. The results from the survey were shared with the Board of Education in February. We hope that the design and purpose of the new site meets and exceeds the epxectations of our community, parents and students.

New Year Brings Changes to District!

In December of last year, we said “goodbye” to Kasi Washburn who was our Coordinator of Special Education and Student Services. Kasi left our district to take a position with GST BOCES. Her departure created a vacancy in our administrative team. I am pleased to announce that we were able to internally restructure our team in order to fill the position and thus create as little mid-year disturbance to our schools and programs as possible. The following shifts have occurred in our administrative team:

· Mary VanEtten has shifted to the position of Coordinator of Special Education and Student Services

· Jeffrey White has shifted to the position of High School Principal

· Elizabeth Sinski has shifted to the position of MS/HS Assistant Principal (from Speech Pathologist)

Each of these people are well qualified to fulfill the needs and responsibilities of their new position. I look forward to seeing the results of their leadership in their new positions as we move along our path of “continuous improvement”.

I wish you all a happy and healthy 2013!

Kimberly A. Mueller, Superintendent of Schools
