The students of the Wellsville Elementary School are remembering our troops this holiday season. Through December 1st they are collecting items that can be included in care packages for soldiers from our area. The public is invited to help out with this project by either donating items for the boxes or by making a cash donation to help pay for the cost of mailing the boxes. Click here for more information on this program and suggestions for what kinds of items to include. We are also looking for donations to help with the mailing costs of these packages. Checks may be made out to: The Wellsville Elementary Student Senate and mailed to Operation Care Packages, Wellsville Elementary School, 50-98 School Street, Wellsville, NY. Items may be brought to the Wellsville Elementary School through December 1st. Please call 585-596-2101 for more information. |

YOU ARE INVITED
A "THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES" RECEPTION
Dr. Byron Chandler is retiring as Superintendent of Wellsville Central School.
When he came to Wellsville in 2000, he was looking for a good place to work. He found an excellent place to work, a kind and gentle town, with wonderful people, some who are now "family".
Dr. and Mrs. Chandler are hosting a reception to say "thank you" to Wellsville.
It will be held Wednesday, December 2nd from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Wellsville Middle/High School cafeteria.
All are welcome!!! |

Emma Maglier won the 100 Butterfly event and now holds the League Conference record in this event. Emma also is one of the LCAA Athletes of the year. We congratulate the Lady Sea lions and Emma Maglier on their achievements.
