 "FCA Night of Champions"
On May 24, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, sponsored a “Night of Champions” at Houghton College. The “Night of Champions” was open to any high school student. We had students from the following high schools” Olean, Houghton Academy, Cuba Rushford and the students who participate in the Wellsville High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club.
After the students ate some pizza, Sean Oberfell, a police officer from Olean shared with the students what it takes to be a champion. He gave the students some practical information on how to make positive choices when it comes to drugs, alcohol and staying pure. Following Shawn’s motivational talk, the students played scooter hockey, volleyball, soccer and basketball.
Keep your ears and eyes open for future “Night of Champion” event this fall.
