Student Council Holds Snowball Dance
Wellsville High School Student Council held its annual Snowball Dance on February 5th in the Middle School gym. The dance was a “Mardi gras” theme using a purple, green, and gold color scheme. The decorations included assorted masks, streamers, balloons, and beads. The semi-formal dance was a huge success with over three hundred students in attendance. The highlight of the evening was the announcement of the “court”. The winners were: King and Queen - Dustin Hess and Carrie Campbell, Junior Prince and Princess - Troy Edwards and Laura Reed, Sophomore Prince and Princess - Pat Lynch and Alison Aiken, and Freshman Prince and Princess - Tyler Wright and Kelly Burdick. From the dance proceeds, Student Council will be donating $500 to the Tsunami relief fund; we only wish we could give more.
