(40) years later ! When asked where I grew up I tell everyone what a awesome place Wellsville, New York was; A safe, wonderful place to grow up, go to school, enjoy life, family and friends. (New Message)Hello Wellsville Alumni! Just wanted to let you know that Harold (Pat) F. Patterson and Betty Elaine Simpson Patterson are both deceased. We lost Daddy in 99 and mom in 03. I have tried to e-mail in the past years but it always comes back so I am trying one more time. We have been in Southern California since 1968. They missed their 50th wedding anniversary by 9 months. Please kindly remove them from your rolls. |
I got a kick out of looking at the on-line yearbook for 1966. I lost my own copy in the 1977 Johnstown Flood and hadn't had an opportunity to see pictures of my classmates (and myself!) in over 30 years. How young and gorgeous we were!
I've lived all over the US and Europe, have been in the Army, married and became a homemaker, a mom (now a grandma!), and have sold everything from Fuller Brush products, tractors and farm equipment, beer and whiskey (as a bartender), been married, divorced, and single for decades, went to college (IUP) and got a couple of degrees in the 80s and 90s, became a registered dietitian/educator, and believe that the years I spent as a student in WHS prepared me for the great World beyond. I don't get up to Wellsville very often but two of my sisters live there and keep me informed. I'm down in northwest PA now; in a county so small it doesn't have a traffic light. If anyone from the past remembers me and happens to be traveling through Tionesta, PA - give me a call at 814.755.3544 which is my Penn State Extension office number.
