They visited the Liberty Bell and ate Philly Cheesesteaks. The festival, hosted by Temple University, started at 9:00 am on March 19th. Students learned five pieces for the concert hosted at 5:00 pm. They received knowledge of vocal techniques, various styles of choral literature, and watched guest performers during the concert.

    HS Choir Visits Houghton College

Members of the Wellsville High School Chamber Choir and Music Theory Class experienced a day at Houghton College. The day started with an hour and a half introduction to music careers and collegiate/musical opportunities by Dr. Allen Dusel. The students then received a campus tour, a half-hour rehearsal with the Collegiate A Cappella group known as The Houghton Singers, and attended a Music Technology Class in which they received one on one instruction by college students on how to mix a recorded song using Pro Tools software.
